Description

Immerse yourself in the essence of aerial power and fierce grace with our Mōkin Ken Katana, the ultimate sword adorned with eagle motifs. Inspired by the majestic skies and raptors of Japan, this hand-forged work of art embodies the perfect fusion of millennia-old tradition and contemporary craftsmanship. The blade of this katana is a symphony of T-10 high-carbon steel, forged and hardened using ancestral Japanese clay methods. The result is a magnificent hamon, each one unique in its kind.

The saya of this masterpiece is a perfect balance of sobriety and elegance, adorned with buffalo horn details for a precious wood look. The union of blade and scabbard creates a visual symphony that evokes the majesty of the eagle in flight. The Japanese silk-wrapped handle rests delicately in the palm, dressed in authentic stingray skin for an unrivalled grip.

    Customizable blade

Give your katana a personal touch with our customization service! Our expert craftsmen can engrave a text of your choice on the blade, ensuring precise, long-lasting personalization.

The package includes the katana(s), carefully packed. Additionally, a Japanese fabric bag worth $25 is offered with each katana order. You also have the option to add accessories such as a stand, a certificate of authenticity, a cleaning kit, or a premium storage box to enhance your collection.

Each katana offered on our store is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail. Preparation times vary depending on the complexity of the model and the availability of the necessary materials. Once the order is confirmed, the estimated processing time is typically between 3 to 10 days.

As for delivery, it depends on several factors, including the chosen shipping carrier, potential customs inspections (due to the nature of our products), and the final destination. Generally, the delivery timeframe ranges from 5 to 15 days after shipment.

However, we want to highlight that exceptional circumstances, such as logistical delays or peak periods, may extend these timeframes. While we do our best to ensure fast and efficient delivery, it is not possible for us to provide a precise delivery date.

Our katanas are handcrafted and forged in accordance with Japanese tradition. Once manufactured, they are shipped from China to provide a better balance between delivery speed and cost.

All of our Katana swords have a full tang construction. We meticulously handcraft these blades, ensuring that the blade extends seamlessly into the handle. This not only enhances their durability and resilience for training purposes but also pays homage to the traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

Due to the unique nature of our katanas, we prioritize specific shipping methods to ensure fast and secure delivery while reducing the risk of customs delays. Generally, we ship via UPS, known for its reliability and efficiency. If this shipping method is unavailable, we work with our secondary partner, China Post, in collaboration with Australia Post, to ensure your order is delivered under the best possible conditions.

This situation is very rare, but it can still happen. As described on the "Warning" page at the bottom of our website, the buyer, not the seller, must bear the cost of customs clearance.

In Australia, katanas fall into the category of "controlled weapons". Contrary to popular belief, the sale of controlled weapons is not totally banned in Australia. However, the purchase of a katana is subject to age restrictions, limited to adults aged 18 or over.
