Description

This katana embodies the passion and contained power of Japanese master swordsmiths. Its manganese steel blade is enhanced by a subtle hamon, the signature of expertly controlled clay tempering. What truly draws the eye, however, is its red lacquered scabbard, featuring two lateral slots designed to hold kozuka — small traditional utility blades housed within the saya.

The kozuka was once one of the samurai’s most valued tools. Used for carving, cutting, or performing everyday tasks without drawing the main katana, it reflected the warrior’s discipline and self-control. These small blades were often richly decorated, sometimes engraved with mythical creatures, flowers, or natural scenes, reminding us that the Japanese sword was not merely a weapon, but also a work of art. A gift for my children

Order mistake, but good customer service

Upon receiving it, I was very disappointed: it was not the katana I had ordered... Fortunately, the customer service was super responsive and quickly sent me the correct model, letting me keep the other one. It's a nice commercial gesture, but the error was still annoying. I'm giving 3 stars for this mixed experience.

An amazing purchase!

As a fan of Elden Ring, I absolutely wanted to have a replica of the Moonveil katana, and wow... it's HUGE! The finish is incredible; you can immediately tell it's a real blade and not just a decorative item. The packaging was super careful, with no scratches or flaws on arrival. I was a bit worried about customs fees, but in the end, I didn't have to pay anything.
